Icons are used in almost every web project. Great web designs use custom made icon sets. But, if you have an idea of a project and you do not have so much money to spend for an original interface you can use free icons. There are a lot of well designed free packages that look the same as paid ones. Mini icons are also widely used. In most cases for admin related interfaces or for showing different states of elements. Icons like Edit, Delete, Mail etc are pretty well known. We searched the web and found very nice icon sets that we think may help you in your little projects.
