   I am looking to do a makeover for one of my websites and have been scared to go near the ‘dark’ style.
   So hard to do well.

   Dark [web] design — when done well — can be quite aesthetically pleasing. With that said, you have put a nice collection of sites together to show just that.

   Love “Wordspan” & “Fixie Web Consulting” websites. Great color choices! Normally I like clean and white websites….but lately darker websites are very very sexy too!! My current website is on the dark side too! check it out: http://www.kaidesign.ca

   They are nice. Really. All of them. But I don’t know why, I can’t see them more than a couple of minutes or my eyes are burner
   For reading, I prefer light colors.
   Anyway, great examples.
